Contacted Bay Area Water Heaters as a friend had used them last year and had a great experience. Requested a quote and received a quick response with a competitive quote. Also, they could do the install very quickly and were very flexible on timing. Owner Chris and I exchanged quite a few messages over Yelp chat about the details and also discussed things over the phone and set a date. He asked how much leadtime I needed since I don't live at the property, and relayed that to his team. I had a change of heart about the brand of water heater and messaged Chris late the night before the install asking if I could have another brand installed. Chris replied the next morning saying it was no issue. That morning, Dave called me as requested giving me notice of his ETA and all was good. He arrived right on time, we discussed various possible upgrade options, and associated costs. I appreciated the friendly, no pressure information and picked what I wanted and Dave started the job. Very friendly and professional. The job was completed well within the scheduled time and Dave ran me through what he did, reviewed how to re-light the pilot if needed, and completed the paperwork. Overall, very pleased with the process, responsiveness, and professionalism of both owner Chris and installer Dave. Would use them again without hesitation and recommend them to friends and colleagues.
